Ultimately, though, we are our own best teachers. To get the answers you seek and the guidance to take your life in the direction you want, look within. Look to your higher self.
Your Higher Self
What is the higher self? It’s the “ultimate you,” the intelligent creative consciousness that is so much more than this physical body. It is the authentic you beneath all the beliefs, limitations and habits you’ve created for yourself in the physical plane. It is the eternal and infinitely wise and loving you that has all the answers about what you – the physical you – need to make the most of this life experience.
Is it easy to connect with the higher self? Yes. But, two things have to happen: one, you have to allow yourself to be guided, and two, you have to listen.

Be Open to Guidance
If this is so powerful, why don’t more people use spiritual guides? Many people believe that only practical, logical solutions are possible to worldly issues. Others believe that God/ the higher power/ the higher self – or whatever name they prefer – doesn’t want to be bothered with the little things; that only major issues are worthy of asking for guidance.
But think of it this way: if all problems could be solved using practical and logical solutions, they would not be problems anymore. And if a journey is made of a thousand steps and you’re blindly stepping in the wrong direction… where are you going to end up?
We regularly take guidance from teachers, doctors, human spiritual teachers, parents, mentors, coaches and experts. Why not ask yourself – the higher self – about the things that concern you? You ARE your best teacher. Don’t close yourself off from the source of love, guidance and support. Use it. It’s there for you!
Were you put here to struggle and blunder? Of course not. You, and every other person, is here to fulfill some purpose. You can see it in the energy of people who are following their purpose, and those who are just existing. You have total access to that immensely creative energy. All you have to do is ask.
Enter the alpha level and connect with your higher self. Ask questions and listen to the answers. Learning to trust your inner voice can take practice. But as you take action based on the information you get, you’ll notice that your life will take a dramatic turn for the better.
Spiritual guidance will help you make the best decisions. Your life will start to point straight at the reason you are here. Things will begin happening for you instead of to you. This remarkable shift will help you become open to even more guidance as you learn to trust that inner voice.
Ask, and ye shall receive. You may not realize that your spiritual guides are always there for you, always on standby. However, they do not meddle. You have to ask for help. So treat your guides as you would a teacher here in the physical plane. Be curious and be open. You will receive the guidance that is freely available to all.
